Ladyfest on BBC 6 Music!Join TOW as we sit in for Tom Robinson on his brilliant 6 Music show, Introducing Fresh On The Net - which kicks off on Monday 8 November at 1am. We'll be playing muchos Ladyfest tunes and are joined by the fabulous Sukie Smith (Madam) who plays Sunday afternoon's quieter line up. Annette Barlow from The Girls Are comes on for a turn as our Girl Music Guru with tunes from The Hysterical Injury and She Makes War.

Ladyfest is celebrating its tenth birthday and what a majestic way to kick off the party! Friday night at The Horatia will feature female beat-boxers, femmcee’s, hip hop and dance supremos. Showcasing the most exciting up and coming UK talent, Beats Workin’ promises to be an evening of fierce women and killer skills, headlined by major UK talent Envy - easily the fasted lady-rapper around, Lady Sovereign, YOU WISH!
Also catch MC Lykez, who grew up battling with the likes of Chipmunk in Crouch Hill, North London and whose single Not Your Hair is tearing up the airwaves. Birmingham's Lady Leshurr has been rapping since she was a little 'un and releasing bashment, grime and R&B mix tapes since she was just 16...

Can you freakin' believe it? A huge advocate of Ladyfest, Le Tigre member JD Samson will lead her crew on Saturday night to perform what will no doubt be an explosive headline set, expect hits including Off Our Backs, Simultaneously, Credit Card Babies and new material.
