JUST A GIRL Competition - time is running out!

Calling all aspiring women music makers! The brilliant The Girls Are blog is calling for last minute entries to the Just A Girl competition, which will see the winner play a slot at this year's Ladyfest... that's going to be a weekend of fantastic music at The Garage in Highbury, north London, in November.

Here's the blurb from The Girls Are's Annette Barlow:

The winner of Just A Girl will be playing alongside some incredible names (if I told you, I’d have to kill you) and will not only receive radio airplay, but will also feature as part of a Ladyfest Ten documentary. Becoming giddy with excitement? Well hold your horses, it gets even better. All entrants will be judged by both the girls are readers AND a panel of expert judges, comprising yours truly (Founder & Editor, thegirlsare.com), RUTH BARNES (The Other Woman radio), CAMILLA PIA (Live Editor, The Fly), CHARLOTTE RICHARDSON ANDREWS (Wears The Trousers) and none other than VIV ALBERTINE (Musician, Artist, The Slits).
